I have a 93' S600, Ive been experiencing high engine temps, have just discovered that the aux fans only operate at the low speed, they wont come into high speed even with engine temps are already at about 115 degrees.
In my 91' SL500, unplugging the connector to the blue coolant temperature sensor will have the aux fans running at high speed regardless of engine temp. I tried doing the same with the S600, but the fans still stay at low speed even after unplugging the connector. Should the aux fans of the S600 go on high when I unplug the connector to the blue CT sensor?
Any ideas on how to check why the aux fans wont go into high? What should I check first?
