ASR light on ‘94 S500 / Just changed harness

ASR light on ‘94 S500 / Just changed harness
HELP!!
My wiring harness was junk on my ‘94 S500 so I just replaced it with a used “non-rotting” one (Delphi.) Now it idles like crap, there’s no power (I have to push the pedal halfway down to get any response), it dies out at idle, and my ASR light is on. ....just that one...no other lights. I’ve double-checked to see if I left anything disconnected and can’t find anything. All the injector wires are in the correct order and the only thing different is the wiring harness.
Is it possible the harness itself is somehow the culprit or should II be looking elsewhere? Is there a process by which I can determine what the problem is? I hate the thought of having to take the car to the dealer to resolve what might be a simple problem.

EDIT: I FEEL LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT!! One of the injector wires wasn’t pushed on completely. I made sure it and the rest were ALL THE DANG WAY attached and the engine’s smooth as silk now.
