It's Canadian Spec W140... The original cluster shorted out(common problem with early W140/R129 w/roller odometer)... The whole cluster was swapped out for newer, 1994/1995 style w/digital odometer....

Kind of funny to see the shorted cluster in work though.... The lights in cluster would come on/off at random, blink like a Xmas Tree, and all needles were jumping around here and there.....Or just quit working altogether, and sprint back to life after few seconds.... LOL....

Hi guys,

I found this forum via google lol.

This is my 300SEL from 91 it has 417.000km on the clock and still runs like it came out of the showroom yesterday

the car is lowered 3.5cm in the front, the rear isn't. Got that done 2 weeks later (some problems at the garage)

It's got 20inch Lorenso with 255/35/20 tires.
The wheels got imported from the US

Smile Thank You

Well, up until 2003 had around 40k, but recently been doing alot of commuting and now car has 102k. Recently replaced front and rear shocks, caps, rotors, steering box (old one was okay, but steers like new now), upper and lower control arms, sway bar links and sway bushings, steering damper, lower ball joints and new ac unit. Reason for spending so much on an older car is i was given the car from a family member who came into quite a bit of money. The parts i replaced would have been okay for awhile, but figured would have to replace them anyways. I really enjoy the car, however i am now thinking about a 1989 Rolls Royce Silver Spur. We'll see.
