Climate control issue
Hello everyone! I have a 99 s500 and I recently replaced the blower motor and regulator. Everything was working fine for a couple of months then my climate control was malfunctioning. The air will turn on and it will go from whatever setting I put it at back down to low. It will not stay at the setting I adjust it to. It will repeatedly go back up blow air then back down to low. Sometimes it will stay on for a while and blow cold air but then it will blink and turn down to the low setting again. It will sometimes look like the gauge is blinking. You you think it’s a faulty regulator? Can someone point me to the right direction into what I need to repair please. Thank you!

I was afraid of it being that problem. I was going to try and troubleshoot by first changing out the regulator. Hopefully that’ll fix the problem. If not then I will have to buy a a/c control unit. How hard is it to install the unit?
