Fuel Lid- Help Ugent!!

Dear all,

My vacumm system for central locking has damaged and now i have to unlock or lock manually using the key...

However, the fuel filler lid is lock...n i m now low on fuel...how do i open it?

THe part i ordered has not arrive...pls help

go to RHS of trunk / boot and pull out the carpet / covering and reach inside - there is a small emergency release lever / pull toggle....

not easy to see - use a torch!

FUEL LID will not lock

somehow, I noticed that my fuel lid will not lock even when the car is locked (remotely or from inside).
I read from a forum saying that I have to check the fuse for the fuel lid lock. I managed to inspect FUSE #15 on the Fuse box inside the trunk left pillar, but fuse is also OK.
Could there be any other reason why the Fuel lid is not locking?

Your fuel lid is unlocked by a plunger which retracts when pressure is produced by the pump PSE under the rear pass seat. The doors, trunk and fuel all share the same line. When vacuum is applied they are locked. This pump roduces pressure for the lumbars, vacuum to supplement engine vaccum to activate HVAC diaphrams, I some vehicles it supports the back up rods, and head rest release, on non electric headrests. It does have timeout features, when it can not produce the required pressure or vacuum in a given time. The lock/unlock timeout is shorter than the secondary consumers like lumbar or HVAC.

as described, everything linked to the pump PSE seem to be working perfectly except for the Fuel Lid Lock.
Could it be possible that the lock mechanism is stuck?
I read in the manual that there is a mechanical procedure to unlock if it does not open.
maybe there is a procedure to do the reverse?
