500SE leaking cooling with fuel odor and pressure
Hi,
I am looking for advise for my w140 500SE 1991 with 100k km before changing the cylinder head gasket.
The car started to have a low coolant level with high pressure in the upper main coolant line (engine to cooler). At the same time i have noticed that the coolant somehow smells like gas.
i have replaced the coolant cap, but that did not change anything. The car does not emit any white steam indicating heavy water burning. I would like to know your opinions before cylinder head gasket removal.
