93' 400sel

radio codes

Can someone please tell me where to get the radio codes for my 93 400 sel? I heard that if I needed to disconnect the battary I would loose my radio and would have to re-program it. havent disconnected the battary yet so I'm still able to listen to the radio. is this true to needing to re-code?

Yup

Yes its true, you would need to re-code your system if you ever loose power. You should have received a credit card size card with the code on it to save for just such an event. You can get the code from your local dealer but will be needing to show proof you are the owner. IE , registration etc.
