1994 s420 throttle body and which years to get
I just purchased a 1994 s 420 and I have been reading a lot of the symptoms I am getting.Fluctuating rpm and pedal response.I think I can tackle the job myself but I am not sure about doing the pin nouts myself .I read that the 1996 have wire throttle body as opposed to a cable throttle body.Which years can I used that will be compatible?.The previous owner had his rebuilt, and guess what, after a few yrs, it's doing the same thing.He also said the car needs a throttle cable.It was leaking tranny fluid from underneath.I topped up the fluid , but while test driving, the tranny was harsh in first and second and the kick down or kick up wasn't what it felt like it was supposed to do.it usually shifts too late and the kick up comes in a bit too early.Do you guys think the kick down tranny cable will fix this or will a different throttle body fix it?.Thx
