W140 Mechanic in Central Florida
Hi,
I am at my wits end. I have been having a terrible time finding a good mechanic in central Florida. I am located near Daytona beach but don't mind driving up to 1.5 hours to find someone competent enough to work on the car.
One mechanic (bosch certified and works on RR, bently's, mercedes etc) had my car and couldn't figure out how to fix the soft close trunk after a whole month, another mechanic (who specializes in German and imports) thought the car had bullet proof glass. Another upholstery guy thought the car had bullet proof glass as well. Lastly the one guy that seems to be competent is booked until February and is the least organized shop owner I know. I am losing my mind.
