FOR SALE: 1992 Mercedes Benz 300SE S-Class Sedan PICTURES!! $3950
1992 Mercedes Benz 300 SE S-Class Sedan
-Runs and drives good
-6 cylinder fuel injected engine with automatic transmission
-Approximately 150K miles (speedometer has stopped working)
-Clear CARFAX report included
-Clean title (not salvaged)
-No Rust
-Late model factory 16" alloy wheels from a 1999 S500
-New front tires -Goodyear Eagle 225/60/16
-New Battery
-Over $1400 of work recently completed including new engine wiring harness, spark plugs, spark plug wires, hoses. (receipt included)
-Other features include: leather interior, power seats with 3 memory settings, zebra wood interior trim, factory DUAL PANE tinted power windows, remote key entry, power telescopic/tilt steering wheel, power sunroof, power mirrors, driver and passenger airbags, factory Becker AM/FM stereo cassette, digital outside temperature readout in dash, power locks, power steering.
-This vehicle comes with a clear Texas title and is currently registered until December 2004.
-This Mercedes is the later W140 chassis and is the same body style as S320, S420, S500, S600, 500SEL, 600SEL from 1992 to 1999 models.
This car runs and drives good, but needs A LOT of TLC and a considerable amount of work. It is being sold as a fixer upper or parts vehicle and is sold in an AS IS condition. Some of the items that need fixing include (but not limited to):
-Reverse gear works with a delay and intermittenly.
-Leaks coolant.
-Has an oil leak.
-A/C is not working.
-Radio is not working.
-Has minor dings, dents, scratches all around the car from use. However, there is no evidence of it ever being in a major accident.
The low Kelly Blue Book value for this car is over $8000. Comparing with others for sale, most people are asking around $10K or more for this particular year and model. $3950 is an excellent price, even though it needs some work. Please also keep in mind that this is why it HAS the discounted price.......IT NEEDS WORK! You will not find one that runs and drives any cheaper than this though!
