1993 500SEL good buy?
I may be buying one of these tommorrow. Seems like a really good car to me... any reason I shouldn't go ahead or anything to look out for in the future that may go wrong?
Its already had the front coupling changed on the driveshaft and the entire gearbox was replaced at about 120km (now has 150km)
Cheers!

At the moment I'm more worried about the mechanical side of things... but yes if I do buy it I will be tinting the windows dark, changing the suspension to sit very low, and adding some deep dish rims. Gangster style

I would worry more about the AC evaporator failing, it is almost a guarantee it will, $4k the dash comes out. The close assist pump is also a favorite, followed by the "bose" amp, the hydraulic engine mount bushings , and the self leveling accumulators. Dropping the susapension will cause problems with the self leveling adjustment.
