I'm getting an error code C0310 on my 1998 S320. I can't seem to find any information about it.

what tool did you use to ascertain fault C0310
if you used an MB tool you would have shown C1310--front axle switchover valve number A7/3Y18 is faulty within your BAS
do not go to an MB hack to sort this out
goto someone who really knows the older MB systems, if not you will get screwed

I do not have the MB tool but I use a Foxwell. My car is not a 4matic. In the back of my mind I kind of remember getting a front axle error a long time ago. It would not apply to my car, but I did clear it and will see if it comes back.
