After replacing the stereo in my W140 s320, the lights on the dashboard, a/c, and side of the doors (the seat movement buttons) don't turn on when my headlights are turned on. They were working before I changed the stereo so I think I unplugged something in the process. The warning lights on the cluster still work fine, but I can't see anything on the dash at night, it's very annoying. I know it's not the knob on the cluster I've already tried messing with that.

What should I be looking for?

Also, when I was installing the stereo, a very loud static noise started every time I turned the headlights on. I assume it's going to start again when I get these lights working again. Is this a grounding problem?
