W140 300SE / 1993
Question W140 300SE correct MAF sensor?

Hi everyone,
Ever since I got hold of my W140 a few months ago, it had issues with idling. After rebuilding the wiring harness and replacing spark plugs, I realised the MAF is deffective.
The problem is, when I google the engine model (M104.990), a number of different types of MAFs show up. My car has the round connector with 5 pins and the MAF is directly over the throttle body.
Some of the sesors appear to only have 4 pins on the connector. Other models are a different shape entirely, which I assume go through the air intake hose instead, but still have the round connector.
The issue is that all listings claim to be compatible with my version of the car, which I find hard to believe.
The sensor that came with my car is pt.nr 0 280 213 018(Bosch) or 000 094 06 48(MB). Im just confused that maybe a shady garrage installed the wrong sensor at a repair attempt, because when I google these pt numbers I get listings for the S500, S600 and R129 SL. I never seem to be able to find the 300SE.
Does anyone have experience with replacing the MAF on their 93' W140 300SE? Please let me know if this is the right sensor...
Thanks,
Regards Alex.

Thats the right part number for that car. I have w140 300SE 1991 with same engine and the same part number on maf.

I think mine is defective too, running rich and emission hc almost 500 on idle.

Can you get your engine running when maf is disconnected? My engine shuts down when i disconnect maf and cant get it running.

Really hard to find a new one with exactly same part number. I have heard that the v12 maf works in m104.

If someone knows which part numbers fit to m104.990 i would be thankful.
