Question AMG 18" Rims from 2001 E430 to 96 S420

Will these rims fit? I bought AMG Monoblock rims that a guy had for sale on Ebay. Mercedes Benz in Seattle told me that they might not fit. Why wouldn't they... any ideas. The guy I bought them from said that they would fit no problem. He had a 2001 E430

For one, the wheel bolts for the W140 are larger in diameter than for the W210.

The second reason is probably offset. Check out this link to calculate offset, it works pretty well, although there is no substitute for a thorough fitment by a mechanic.

Question I heard that they would fit...

The wheels may fit, but the offset will be a little off. The S Class needs a higher offset than the E class. The E class wheels should still fit the S, but they may stick out just a little. Will this look strange or like a misfit? I don't want to pay that much for something that doesn't look right. Mercedes told me that they would put them on the car for me at no charge and see if it fits. However they are being shipped across the U.S.

E class has a 12MM
S has a 14 MM I believe but that doesn't mean that won't fit as long as I use my own lug nuts. (I think)

Should I get lug nut wheel locks for them?
