lowering the W140

From my measurements the gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender is 23mm greater in the front than the rear on the W140. I will be lowering the car with H&R Springs; however, that 23mm differential will still exist since the H&R springs lower the car the same amount front and rear.

My question is if I change the front rubber upper spring pads from the current 18mm to 8mm, lowering the car another 10mm and reducing the front vs rear gap differential from 23mm to only 13mm, will it achieve a more level look or will the car look raked? I do not have SLS.

Give it a whirl OP. Put some effort into the alignment once you have it looking as you wish for.

Firmer then stock springs will make the flexible chassis more noticeable.
