Burn Smell from the engine

Burn Smell from the engine

Hi Guys,
When i drive my S320 around for like 20 minutes and this happens if i usually drive fast, i get a burn smell frm the engine compartment. It like some kind of wire or copper is burning. Would you know what that might be?

Not really. It smells like some kind of wire burning. Would you know what it could be?

What is the deal with the rotten eggs smeall BTW? Aunt's 600SEL smeels like that when it's driven. Peeeewww!

Oil is changed with Mobil1 Full Synthetic Oil every 3000 miles. Gas is always 93 grade.

check under car to make sure no insulation has gotten loose and is touching the exhaust system. alot of times on older cars the heat insulation under the car gets loose and touches exhaust system somewhere and can start to melt/burn.
