Exhaust gas smoke
Tons of posts about V-8s & V-12s, plus late 90's M104, but almost entirely nothing about the '92-'93 early M104 in the W140 300SE with one single coil.
To solve a vacuum leak I couldn't find, in hopes of solving a high (1000 rpm) idle, and fluctuating idle when taken out of gear, a new 'recommended' mechanic found a pcv hose hissing, and replaced it. Huge white smoke started coming out of the muffler with NO antifreeze smell, and decided to give the car back to me not wanting to figure it out (after charging $125). Had to get the car flatbedded home.
I later discovered what seems like a large oil puddle under the MAF in the intake manifold, (which is easy to get to on the early W140 M104). I guess the closest post I see a similarity to - is this one about a 420, with no good advice suggested years ago, and as usual, never any solutions posted by the car owner:

On my car there are two, approx 1 inch pipes connected to eachother, routing from the valve cover to the throttle body. I replaced the broken one that connects directly to the valve cover, and the other is in good shape, including no engine reaction to carburetor cleaner sprayed all over it in terms of idle increase. (In just buying the car a few months ago, and now finally replacing the wiring harness, to get it running - these are some of the problems I'm straightening out).
I pumped out the oil from the intake, which turned out to not actually be as much as it looked, (maybe an ounce or two) and now I'm stuck. I can't find a complete PCV hose diagram, or what could be not hooked up correctly leading to this issue, or even the exact hose the guy replaced, though I do see what looks like a new small 3/4" bent hose UNDER the manifold close to the power steering pump/water pump area.
I don't even know if this 1993 earlier W140 M104 setup has any hose or some valve clogging the pcv system, causing that same sucking in of oil the other guy above posted about his 420, and causing that huge smoke cloud.
Can anyone post any complete labeled PCV diagrams with all hoses involved, for a 1993 300SE, and any ideas on how to solve this?
After all this, in initially trying to soIve any vacuum leaks, I STILL have that high idle, and sometimes fluctuating idle - even when disconnecting the MAF, and trying a different TLLR module! (NO ASR).
