For sale is my 1998 S500 sedan with 73,400 miles. Hopefully, the next owner will take care of her as well as I have. As seen in the pictures on the links below (If you email me I have many more) the car is glacier white with oyster interior. Those of you that are familiar with the W140s, the only changes made in 1998 (no changes in 1999) were Brake Assist, a redesigned center console with cup holders and a color-coded dash. In model years 92-97 if the interior was tan (oyster) the top of the dash and door panels were a dark brown with tan leather inserts. In 98, the top of the dash more closely matched the tan leather. As you may know, the S500 comes very well equipped with standard front and rear heated seats, rain-sensing wipers, automatic slip control, 12-way power driver and passenger seats with pneumatically adjustable lumbar support and 3-position memory, and auto-leveling Xenon lights. Options on this car include the 6-disk CD changer and the rear window power sunshade. Other standard features include the 11-speaker Bose sound system, dual pane windows all one-touch auto up/down, pneumatic door and trunk close assist, rear auto-leveling suspension and keyless entry. Last but not least, the best standard feature is the 5.0 liter V8 rated at 315 hp and 347 lb-ft. torque mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission propelling this massive 4,700 lb sedan to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds.

As I mentioned before, I have taken very good care of this vehicle since taking ownership in August 2003. I am the second owner and to my knowledge the car has never been in any accident or had any paintwork. Also, you may be wondering why I am selling such a beautiful car, the answer is simple, my girlfriend and I are expecting a child and an SUV makes more sense with a child on the way.
