1999 S600 Door Seal Squeaks and Rattles
Does anyone know of a good method for "lubricating" the door seals on this car to reduce or eliminate the chorus of squeaks I get while driving?
It seems that the body flex on this car creates an an incredible racket. Does anyone else experience this?
I've tried silicone spray, but it seems to have made the problem worse.

Your local auto parts store should have some Silicone Lubricant made especially for rubber seals. This might help you out, but do not get it on the painted surfaces.
You have a very rare vehicle, I am not sure if you knew this but there are only **14** 1999 S600s in the USA!

You also may want to investigate the seats, I have reduced/elimintated squeaks in many MBs previously by using a good leather conditioner, like Leatherique. After using Lexol and hide food for years, I switched to Leatherique and will not use anything else now. I have not financial ties to this company other than as a customer, but really do love their products and service. Give them a shot:

They are also excellent at creating leather dyes from a sample you provide. I redyed several of the interior parts of my wife's 300E and they look and feel great.

you might also find that its the door panels that are squeeking - the wood bits are bolted on to the door card with small nuts which work loose over time.
check by pressing the wood bits - they shouldnt move.
you need to remove the whole card to tighten them...

What are the VIN numbers of the 1999 S600s?
I was not aware that the '99 S6 was so rare. Now I must confirm that it actually is a '99 and not a late '98. Do you know the vin number ranges for the all of model years?
