Not receiving GPS signal

Hi all. I have a 2000 S500 that I purchased six months ago. I previously wrote about brake noise and a system clock that repeatedly lags behind.

I just realized that I am not receiving any GPS signals. I inspected around the area where the CD changer/antenna switch/etc. are located, and I didn't find anything out of the ordinary, except for a 3-wire pin that was not connected to anything. Wondering if that could be the problem. I couldn't find a port for the wire, so it might be prewiring for a feature I don't have (such as Parktronic).

I don't want to keep going back to the dealer, because I've already spent a small fortune on a few things since I bought the car. If I can troubleshoot to see if my GPS antenna somehow became disconnected, I'd welcome some instructions on where to look.

Many thanks.

I have a 2000 S500 as well. My clock loses time (when it decides to even display). My GPS is acting-up as well. I'm taking the car into the dealer for a full look. I'l let you know what I hear.
