Overseas purchase?
Well I''m planning on purchasing Toyota Supra 1995 as my commuter car and this is the e-mail I got from the seller? SCAM 
First of all, I like to inform you that the car is in excellent
running and body condition and there are no flaws on it or any other
mechanical problems. It has a clear title and it will be signed and
notarized on your name as soon as the payment will be completed.
I'm working at a hotel in Hawaii and we will do the transaction
through Squaretrade's protection program which will hold the payment
until you receive the car. I won't be there until I have a payment
confirmation which , of course , can be returned in case the car fails
to honor my good description. I just need this as a small guarantee
that I'm not coming back home for nothing and that I really have a
serious buyer.To complete payment you must have cash available.
Please also provide me the following details necessary to take a
decision:
-your full name and address for shipping
-your ph#
If I receive the requested information you will be informed by
Squaretrade during the next 12-24 hours.
Once the payment is completed and confirmed by them i'll come there
and arrange for shipment/pickup and papers.

Sounds like a complete scam. Seems like the generic e-mail that has been going around for a while. I received several of those when inquiring about a car i saw on autotrader etc. Including one from a seller like 5miles away from me who refused to meet with me to see the car and wanted to ship it to me when I live 20minutes away from the supposed location of the car.
E-mail the seller asking to use your own escrow service and watch what he says.
