Help with needle sticking!
Crap!!! Just got the 2001 S500 a little while ago and my speedometer needle is sticking. The other day it wouldn't come down from 120km/hr. Then when I turned off the car for awhile it reset itself I guess.
Today the speedometer was off by 16km/hr...I found this out because I started noticing everyone was driving prett slow on the way home. Turns out I was doing 136km/hr not 120km/hr like I thought. My Cruise control is acurate...thats how i know i was off by 16km. Then when I came off the hyw I changes the speedometer from km to miles and then back again. It started working fine again.
I think its catching at 120 or somewhere.
Any ideas besides...having to buy a new dash $$$$
