OK, my good friend from Washington State (Etenn) has "kindly" advised me that I'm essentially a moron for not realizing this an S class and not the E class I thought it was.

I took these pix on Long Beach (California) on the 405 freeway today (5/25/05).

This MUST be the new S-class and GREAT shots.

I notice that there is a lack of sharp, wierd wheel arch flares like the new M-class. They looked out of place and your shots cofirmed that they may not be as prominent as other spy shots.




VERSUS the S-class with UGLY wheel arch flares. Mind you, when I enhanced the pictures, it looks like they have a piece of cardboard behind the tape.



I always thought the spy shots of the new S looked stupid with the sloppy wheel arch flares, I guess that it not going to be as ugly as the other spyshots made it look. In fact, the new S looks like an updated Maybach.

Front end looks like the spy shots. Of course, we are missing the prominant and ugly wheel arch flares of the other spy shots.




Versus



Notice the gap in the masking tape where the turn light are. They MUST leave them uncovered (law) and low and behold, they both match in position. Also note where the exact location of where they left the headlight lenses umasked. Exact match to other spy shots. Trunk "bump", door glass, body cut line all match the other S-class spy shots.

congrats on those great spy pics--you're very lucky indeed! and quick with the camera.

now, i wonder if the new MB Command will blow iDrive and MMI away..
