staggered wheels on a 4matic?
Hi all,
is it ok to put staggered wheels on a s 4-matic?
i am thinking of intalling 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 9.5.
Does anyone know the potential trouble that I might face from doing so?
Thanks,
Tim

Currently on foot.
You never put wheels of a different diameter on opposite ends of an AWD/4WD vehicle. It will cause geartrain binding. Different widths shouldn't hurt (As long as the diameter is the same!!) but I doubt that would be reccomended either.

I heard that too that you shouldn't put diff. diameter on 4matic vehicle.
Regarding the widht there should be no problem.
Otherwise why MB intoduced AMG package (with 18x8 & 18x9 rims) on S-Class with new double spoke rims?
