Re-seating the center dash vent
Anyone know how to remove and re-seat (re-install) the center dash vent on a 220.170, 2006 S430?
Bottom line: my new S430 has an uneven rise and gap in the dash where the center vent and dash come together. It's driving me nuckin' futs, and I'm currently avoiding taking it to the hacks at the dealership because I know what kind of "craftmanship" they've provided in the past. I'd rather take care of it myself, than have the hacks at MB take a whack at it. They totally screwed-up the door panel on my 2000 S500 when they replaced the window regulator. They still scatter when I walk into the service dept.
Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated!
