Remote start...2004 S500?
Can this be done? Local sound shop guys are saying no because of fiber optics. Has any one done this?

i think if you mess with the ignition it also screws with the security system.

Whatever there's gas in...
It can be done..I've been thinking about doing it but that means I'd have to carry two remotes.

Your smart key is not called that for nothing. If you start messing with the ignition system, you'll deal with more than just carrying a second set of keys.

S-Clusiv, how can it be done? I was told that the SmartKey uses like a rolling code system for each start up, so it couldn't be done.
