Considering AMG rims....
I have a source for a set of new car "take-offs"...AMG OEM from '06 S500. There is a guy in Miami who deals in after market wheels and tires and sells a set either staggered or same size (my choice) for $2700. I am guessing that the '05~'06 pressure sensors will be compatible with the '04 computer. The best price I put together on new OEM with a set of Bridgestones was about $3300. Has any one done this? I guess a lot of guys change to aftermarket rims and dump the originals real quick. The AMG rims are very strong and light plus they look great (IMHO)

$2700 is a lot for take off's are you taking about 18" or 19"? Which Style? If 18" definitely a lot less than 2700.
Tires.com or Tirerack.com will have plenty of AMG Replicas.

I've seen some 18" knock-offs on e-bay for $750 for a set of 4...but I don't know if I would drive around on them. I question the quality control on some of these wheels on the market that don't carry DOT certs. I mean ... come on guys...we're not driving around in Hondas and Toyotas . Oh, and that $3300 was from Tire Rack.

I bought 18" real AMG wheels with huge performance tires w/tire pressure monitors installed for 500 bucks more. I thought about knock off's but knew I would not be happy knowing they weren't the real thing. It's worth the diffence! Go AMG dude!
