S500 Tranny Fluid
I want to avoid the tranny failure people have talked about and want to drain and fill the AT fluid in my 2000 S500 as I am approaching 47k miles. Can someone tell me the capacity of the transmission system and aproximately how much will drain out in a regular drain and fill? I'm getting ready to order some of the fluid online and don't want to be caught short... Thanks.

Go to mercedes web site

Register your car and download your owners manual.
It should be about 9.6 U.S. quarts.

You better look into that my C43 was about 11qts. with torque convertor and I think my trans is from an 'S' - I could be wrong, please verify your capacity though, it sounds low.
