2001 S430 Photo Shoot
Although it was a horrible one (wrong time of day, and the automatic ISO was way off, the pictures are too noisy). Anyways, I will re-shoot it some other time, but so you guys know what I'm working with, here are some not-so-good pictures. I tinted the windows in CS2 (as you can probobly tell) just for kicks. They are not tinted. The S was extensively detailed. The paint was compounded. Pictures do not do justice. And Photobucket resized the hell out of some of them. If you want hi-res (they are nothing special though) I have 1600x1200.
Good looking ***

I don't know. The PO said he thought it was a sport (he is a good friend of ours, so he wasn't BSin to sell it). So it is not a sport? Those aren't the original wheels btw. And I thought it was sport because you can adjust the suspension firmness.

Oh awesome! I was wondering about the front bumper and how it didn't look so sporty-ish. Thanks my friend, and you are correct on your insinuation, it is not a sport. But you are incorrect about my S500. It is an S430!
haha

Both the 430/500 have the Airmatic adjustments as standard. You probably have custom rims but the body trim is not the AMG package from what I can see. As Cory says...what difference does that make. It looks great!
Congrats!

Thanks! And I did not know this about the Airmatic adjustments. The S handles damn good for what it is/ and w/ those tires. I already tested the handling out and took some twisties. It was very very suprising for a big *** sedan. Those arent the factory rims, as you said.

"Werd" is today's hip, cool, downwiththat way of saying that he agrees with you. I think it's in reference to your comment of a white S looking just as good or maybe slightly better than a freshly laundered and detailed black S.
Quit fooling with us, you're down with this hip lingo...now let's talk about some more whips.

I thought about new shoes but I'll just pass, especially since I'm waiting in line for the new S. For a 5 year old car I think it served me well and now it's time for my little boy to enjoy it. Kids nowadays got it nice. Can you imagine pulling up in high school driving an S class??
He's already looking for an amg kit and wheels on me - I didn't know that I was paying for it.

Lucky kid to be sure. The only thing we pulled up in at high school was a late 1940's school bus! I don't think I can remember any of my classmates owning a car...times sure have changed...:-)
