Is there a such thing as an S550
A friend of mine says he just got ordered an S550. I was like did you mean S55 he was like no an S550 I said surely surely you mean a S500 and he said again its an S550. 
If I didnt know for a fact he could buy pretty much any car he wants I would swear he were a flake. But is there such a vehicle or could he be getting taken advavtage of?

S500/W220/2000
Yes. There is a new S550 and there is a forum here where you can get a lot of specific information on it: New S-Class (W221) . Basically, it is the 2007 S-class, and it has a slightly bigger engine than the W220. It is still called an S500 in other parts of the world, but for some reason MB decided to call it the S550 in the U.S.
