Radio automatically turns to full volume
I've got a 99 S320 with radio/casette. When parking and leaving the car I switch off the ignition and take away the key (without turning off the radio).
Next time I go for a drive, the radio turns on to full volume when I start the car. Only way to turn down the volume is to turn off the radio and then on again in order to control the volume. (sort of resetting the radio).
This does not incur every time but too often.
Does anyone have any experience / advise.
My MB dealer was not able to trace the problem and have given up!
