question about my 2001 430..the leather shifter knob is loose. I can wiggle it back and forth about 1/4 of an inch each way..does anyone know how to get it off and to tighten it..I dont want to make it any worse then it already is..thanks

 

Pull it upwards and it will come out completely. Then you can easily study. The lower crome part is the one holding the knob on the shaft. If you turn counterclock wise, it will tighten. And reverse way to loose. Push it all the way in and turn the crome part counterclock. It will fit there.

 

Easy.
