DIY Lowering w220
Hi all,
I'm Newbie from Finland, and I want to thank you for your very informative forum!
Today I did DIY lowering (with washers at front and adjusting rear) for my MB, and man!! what a HUGE difference!
Car sits right where i want it to be sitting right now. Just looking so right now with my 18" rims. Whole job took me 1/2hour and 0€ money.
Thanks, and we'll be seeing in future.

Yeah, I read about this in the E55 forum.
Only thing holding me back from doing it is that I heard its risky because something might go wrong causing damage to the airmatic suspension?

Your Welcome. ...
I laugh everytime I think about the cost of lowering a S class.
You are probably at the right height in which you shouldnt have to worry about blowing struts. it is just about 1 inch lower.
to get it lower you need to extend the stud..
