andreas - which one gets more looks, more of the wow factor?? The Murci or the Gallardo? Which do you like better?
And are you on the list for the G Spyder, which, by all accounts, is going to have a lot of wow factor?

CLFREAK,
Not on the list for the Spyder. It sure is beautiful in person. Unlike the photos I had seen earlier. After this Murci purchase I am good to go for a while. I am sure I will like the Murci more as it has alot mor WOW factor than the G. But the G is incrdible to drive. Just easy and powerful with great looks.
On another not I have me S500 up at Topline Auto in Burlingame getting lowered a bit more and had updated tailights installed and a few other little things. They seem like a great group of guys. Zim the owner sure seems to know his way around MB's.
Drove the Murci Roadster up there to check on the S today. Needed to get it broken in. Taking it to LA tomorrow on a road trip. Will have a few things done to it:
Lowered
tint all windows and lenses
paint mirrors and headlight washer flaps body color
MS racing stage II exhast
paint calipers body color
paint rims a dark silver / black
paint intake plenums body color
hard wire V1
Paint lambo logo on rear Black
paint exhaust tips black
and the big dilema?? Wing or no Wing
Here is a shot of a car with the wing I might install??
What do you guys think??

You can get away with the rear wing w/o looking too blingy; reminiscent of the Diablo and Countach...
BTW, I heard from a local dealer Lambo was coming out with a replacement for the Murci. You know anything about this? All I've found is just a minor facelift and bigger HP. Other than that they plan on bringing back the MIURA and possibly the ESPADA & a new version of the LM002.

Oh, forgot to mention about that b.s. canvas top for the Murci; what a pain; I heard there are at least two aftermarket companies that have available a carbon fiber top.
Here are some links w/ pics for yah:
http://www.kldconcept.com/index.php?...egorie&cat=202
http://www.italcardesign.ch/page2.html
http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/Diablo/Affolter

Can't say I like the design from what I see in the very obscure pics. Just like the top for the Diablo; it looked awkward with it on. Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, and the new Murci is the 6.5.

Miura was just a 'concept'. Someone told me what they had on display was just clay and what not. Nothing that really moved.
LM002 replacement is also probably not going to come, I think that would cause way too much competition between the Cayenne / Toureg and whatever else shares that platform (cough Q7 cough and what about that Bentley SUV -- if it happens?)
A friend of mine told me that for 2007 the Murcie gets an updated interior and a power increase as well as slight modifications to the exterior like slightly larger air intakes, different wheels, and that's about it.
Hopefully the earlier Murcies will drop to 100k$ so I can make my goals a reality a bit sooner

Rear wing on the Countach was good for putting your beer on (just the right hight), but not much else. Guess the Murci wing will be just as useful

Thanks Mick1 you are right I still can't belive the federal goverment ruined a car like the Countach just for so called accident safety The car was so low at the front that those ugly bumpers would not of made any difference if you hit anyone. Thankfully they seem to have left all the latest cars alone.

Yep they never liked it, especially when I left for work at 4 am in the summer months. Used to just idle the engine untill at the end of the road and then floor it Glourious sound. It was so loud that the wife made me a coffee when she could here the car 1/2 a mile away on my way home. But now the neighbours love the Mercedes "nice and quiet" only let down is I have to make my own coffee now.
