2005 S600 -oil burning

Hello,
The 05 S600 is about 10 months old with about 10000 miles. Yesterday was the second time that the car instructed me to install a liter of oil. The car had the first service I think at 5000 miles or whatever the dealer instructed but this oil burning has me a litle bit concerned. Anyone else have oil problems with their 600?

Thanks

take that car to the dealership. A salesman once told me a story about selling an 1997 SL600 with really low miles to a lady, she started driving it regularly and in like 2 months it was burning oil. Apparently the 600 is meant to be driven not really babied the more you baby it the more damaged you supposedly do. This might have been an isolated issue but it does make sense.

Thanks for the response.

I don't baby it that's for sure. But I also dont beat on it and the engine sounds perfect. I didn't think the 2 liters of oil was normal in 10 months either.
