Light Upgrades
Besides the turn signal lights, can anyone post links to where I can purchase rear upgrade and front HID lights for a 2000 S-500.

I have bi-xenons that I purchased from MBenzNL...

sorry I don't have any pictures at this time, but I can take some next week when I get them removed...

Well its basically like this, theres bi-xenons which are, 2 xenon light bulbs in the head lights, xenons which are just 1 xenon light, and hid's which are high intensity lights, thats my understanding, not sure if its right

Mand, what speed is your passat governed? How fast can it go? What engine size do you have? I'm thinking of getting one so I ask.

HID is just another name for the Xenon Lights. Xenon are just low beams with halogen high beams, Bi-Xenon is not two bulbs, but rather the reflector inside the projector housing switches to spread the light at a higher degreee than when set on low. Xenon bulbs do not ignite quickly enough to have two bulbs, one for high one for low.

Nice to see that you're interested, mine is the 4 cylinder turbocharged, 200HP model, not sure about the torque, its a fun car, i don't have a licence so i don't know the top speed, otherwise i'd gladly find out..lol,and this model has nice acceleration, i reccomend if you get it, get xenons navi, leather and all for sure, but you can only get the wood in the 3.6, and if you get the sport model u get 2 tone seats leather n suede, and if u get the 4 wheel drive u get dual exhaust. the 3.6 is 280 hp i think.

thats why i said i wasn't sure if i was right, thanks for the info, it was a learning experience=)
