brake assist + esp lights
hello
sometimes in the onboard computer appears two message:
1. Brake assist
2. Electronic stability program
then I have to switch off the car and then switch it on and messages aren't displayed.
what to do?
how to eliminate errors?
my car is s320 cdi year 2000.

Those lights usually come on for a reason. I would get your dealer to run a diagnostic code reader on it and find out what is going on. It maybe something serious and it might just be nothing to worry about, but at least you will know.

Did you ever disconnected the battery? If so these lights come on. Start the engine, turn the steering wheel completely to the right and the left and back. Switchoff the engine and start again, and the messages shall be gone. If not see your dealer for a diagnosis.

Does your ABS light come on
recently required service, received Airmatic, ESP and BAS warnings. These systems are all related to each other and they turn off when a problem is detected
Result: airmatic control arm sensor I beleive was the culprit. Replacing that allowed everything else to work properly
