I haven't installed them on my car, nor can I assure you it gives you 12 bhp.

However, I CAN assure you that you will feel a good power difference after installing them. Unlike chipping or tuning the car, you're mechanically upgrading the motor. I see no problem for any Benz to receive AT LEAST 7-8 whp. 12 is possible. Some owners have claimed 20+.

And I think Evosport sells them for around $400. Definately worth it in my opinion. I'm gonna get it done this summer, especially since you're gonna be using A/C every time you drive (here in Houston, A/C is a must summetime).

Let me know if you get to them before I do and how the car drives. I've talked to people that have them installed in their C32s and C55s. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

I have to say...I'm inclined to move towards the Power Chip package from EVO Sort for $990 before I would drop $400 into the underdrive pully arrangement. Go to the link above and look at the before and after charts for our cars. It's dramatic and a lot of bang for the buck...in my opinion.

On the other hand...if you do both the pullys and the chip...then you are really into a big difference.

That is my plan. Chip and pulley. It should bring the S430 to the S500 performance par.
