hooking up a dvd player into COMAND

hi guys.

since i dont have the tv tuner option in my car, i'm thinkin of hookin up a dvd player into the COMAND system.

i went to a ICE installer today and he told me that i would need to buy a module that can connect the dvd player onto the comand screen. but in order to play the dvd while driving, there is a different module that has to be bought which is quite expensive.

so my Qs,

1. is there any way to enable the video-in-motion via the star diagnosis?

2. where can i obtain these modules from?

thank u so much in advance.

Check out https://www.connects2.com/c2prodoverview.aspx
They have an interface (part number CT90-MC02) which connects a dvd player to the comand without a tv tuner and as long as you leave the purple wire disconected it will play whilst on the move. I have used one of these on my own car and it works perfectly, the wife loves it.
