Wifey just smacked someone in a parking lot today. She trashed our front bumper & headlight.

We have a 01 s500 Sport and want the newer, bigger 03+ amg front bumper.

Will it fit an 01?



Also would like the bi-xenon 03+ lights. Currently have the older xenons. Where should we buy? Are the ones from Taiwan good (on ebay)? self leveling?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You have to change the hood to 03+ hood also in order to fit 03+ AMG bumper. I'm not sure about the headlights on Ebay (quality wise), you can check www.procarparts.com for the headlights, they also have the black housing one too. If you want to do the upgrade to 03+ looks, don't forget to upgrade the mirror and tailights

 

A few members on this board have had issues with those cheap replicas from ebay. Stay away from those and it will save you a lot of headache. Like said above, www.procarparts.com

I think headlights, tailights, and LED mirror upgrades is all you need. Most people can't even notice the differences in the hood and grille between 00-02 and 03+.

 

I did the led mirrors about 6 months ago and it was a great $50 update. Does anyone know if the xenon headlights on www.procarparts.com have the self-leveling feature?
