O/size wheels on S Class

The 2000 S430 has standard 16 in rims which to my eyes look like they would be at home on a Camry.

I want to change out but to what?

I'm looking for input with regards to changes in handling, ride and speedometer error(I notice in the hand book that "command" allows for an owner input change, to reduce speedo error, but that this is just for a entering a dif, profile/aspect tire, while still retaining the 16,s.

Oh, and one other point regarding the body wheel arch to top of tire gap,is the only way to reduce this by changing springs, or is there a wheel tire comination that does not create this problem without causing others.?

Thanks for any advice.

I would stick with Brabus or AMG rims with 19 inch in front and 20 inch in the rear.

Pick a high-end tire of your choice, they all perform well on this car.

Computer can be updated to reflect the rim change and correct the speedometer.

Handling will be outrages

Hmm

You sure about the wheel size option update on the computer, from what I see it only allows tire profile/aspect ratio, NOT a change in wheel size?

there are many options and a wide budgetary range availible, I would suggest 19's or 20's (but not a mix of the 2)

Feel free to visit our site to get a idea of whats availible.
