The no CD found error
I can't believe I almost forgot about it. Been listening to the radio for all these months.
Anyways, I still have that no disc found error when I try to listen to my CDs. I've tried using different CDs in the magazine, but still no dice.
I know there are other topics on this, but I didn't come up with any results after searching. All my fuses are fine. This just calls for a new magazine right? Or the entire changer assembly?

I got the same error message and problem while my car was still under the original warranty. When I took it in, the dealer replaced the entire system in the trunk. I didn't ask any questions, given that it was completely covered.

all of the following have worked at one time or nuther for one person or nuther...
ranked in order of desperation:
- pull power and fiber from changer and leave (as reported by others) anywhere
from 15 mins to overnight. plug back in.
- pull fuse from back of head unit and after a spell, reinsert.
- pull fuse from fusebox labeled for radio for a spell, reinsert.
- bring car to dealer and have them try to solve
- disconnect battery cable for a spell, reconnect. but!....be aware that this
may require resetting of seats, roof, windows, mirrors....and in some cases,
cause warning msgs to light up on dash. i'd save this one for last. have
used this for 99 and 00 E320 with no problems. but STICKY on w203 warns
of fire, brimstone, earthquake in diverse places....
#1 and #2 has worked for me for "no CD changer" msg for (2) w210 and (1)
w211. have yet to take this to dealer to solve.

I had this happen to me about a week ago (on the 11th?). What I did was I pulled out the cd changer itself, opened it up, and cleaned the cd "eye." I put it back together and reconnected. It started to work just fine again. I do not know if it is a permanent solution, but it has worked for me so far and I cleaned it this past Saturday. Good luck with that.
