Cracked window
my rear passanger side window has a crack in it, looks like a small rock hit it. anyone know how much the stealership will charge for that??

from my recent experience they said something about 350 for the part and 2.5 hr to install. so come out to about $700 a side.

I don't know how hands on you are but you can easily change the window yourself provided you are able to remove the rear door pannels off without breaking them. Buy the glass and save the labor. Once the panel is off the glass is easy install.

Click on "sample before you buy" and you'll have an idea of how to take out the door pannel.

Can you go into a bit more detail on the easy install? I open the door panel. and the glass appears to be clamp on? can only get to one of the clamp holder. one of them is in-accessible.

FK, I do not agree with Ken, side windows are not an easy install,just getting door and trim panels off can be a real ***** without breaking clips and plastic and it is way to easy to break or scratch the glass. If you have not already, call around, try auto glass shops.

Now that I found all the hidden screws.. It isnt that hard to remove the door panel.. just need a panel tool and Trox driver. I dont know how to get the glass off. seem like I have to prey the clamp open and unseat it from the glue.. yet still one of the glass clamp cannot be reached..
