It seems like in both services, all they do is change oil and filter. Everything else is just inspect the things. We can change the wiper blade, change the tire and rotate, check and fill all the fluids ourself. Why to waste $700 at the dealership. And once you go there, they will add couple of hundred dollers worth of extra repairs.( who knows, if that's necesory). If we do the oil change DIY, is there any way to reset the FSS. I have the car diagnostic kit " AUTOTAP". Will it help? Thanks for the input in advance.

It's complete BS in my opinion. Checking through the list, I have done all of the services performed in A and B at least once (except lube the throttle linkage). Yes, you can reset the service screen.
I don't know what they mean by inspect the parts. I guess you like look for anything out of the usual.

To keep the warranty and the corrossion warranty you need to see the dealer's workshop atleast once in 2 years. (in Germany, but I guess it's not much different elsewhere).
I do all the more $-things DIY, or go to a cheaper shop, if I can't do it myself. I let the dealer do the inspecting of things only (as you phrased it). I also ask not to repair anything, but just let me know what they found and needs repair or swap. They reset my assyst and I get the service record updated. My last A-Service cost me only $ 80.-
