After start is where it shows you average mpg from the time you start the car. It should reset to 0 everytime you start the car.

After reset shows you average mpg for however long since you last resetted the menu (via holding the R button).

You're fine.

No, I understand what you're saying but "after start" gives no time at all .. If I drive 40 miles in 30 minutes the time and milage will be added to the "after reset" screen, and the milage logged after starting the car will show in "after start", but the time will still show 0:00 (I watch my dispays regularly trying to get the best milage!) ..

Just wondering if it is something I can enable in the options to make it work or if it's just not functioning ..

And by the way .. sorry for hijacking your thread Newton!!!

Impressive as hell to get 26mpg out of her!

I'm driving from SF to San Dimas this weekend so I'll have to see if I can hit it. I think I might have mine in a different setting because my "after start" screen fluctuates wildly .. it can go from 99mpg to 7mpg depending upon if I'm coasting downhill at 80 or in the gas up hill at 30 ..

Is there a setting for this?
