DVD Command Question

I have an 03 s500 and want to play dvds...

Anyone out there swapped there command unit with a euro command and get it to work?

wasnt there some type of workaround via a backdoor on the command system to enable dvds

search the forum it may have been for another mercedes but i remmeber there was a back door menu to enable dvds i think
