comand "Alarm" message
can anyone help. I have just bought a 2000 S500 with comand and I have managed to press a button which has now locked up the unit and displays a message "ALARM". I can't change the station on the radio, volume or source because of it...the previous owner neglected to give me the comand owners guide so I am truly stuck....
Thanks in advance

I received your email. This puzzles me. I have never hard of COMAND having this type of lockdown feature.
I've looked though my COMAND manual and nowhere does it talk about this type of feature.

If you are looking for a manual go here...
Goto the UK site for the SL or new CLK, (not available for S Class), they have an interactive one. Obviously it has the same features but different buttons, concept is the same though.
Goto uk web site, Showroom, CLK Coupe, Ownership, find Owners Manual. (or go to SL)
Regards
Nick
