Hello All,

I have purchased some after market mirror signal lights, to upgrade my current 2000 lights (S500). My car was into Mercedes for a service yesterday, and I asked them to fit the lights. When I collected the car they said they were unable to fit them as the fixing differed inside the mirror assembly. I'm sure they can be made to fit, but how do I remove the wing mirror? there is no fixings on the outside, so I guess the mirror has to be removed first. Any help would be most appreciated.

push the glass gently up and at the bottom part next to where it connects theres a pin,(passenger side: left bottom corner, drivers side: right bottom corner) use a flat head screw driver and wedge it up. (the screw driver must be underneath the pin as u lift it up) once unlocked pull the housing away in a straight line so it goes around the glass. u might need to pivot the glass around to get it out. good luck
