2004 E500 trade to 2004 S500 ?

2004 E500 trade to 2004 S500 ?
Dealer offering me a deal to trade my E500 for a 2004 S500 with 6200 miles ! Yes I sat in it brand *** new! Six THOUSAND miles not sixty
I pay $2200 tax and $30,000. which I can finance out monthly..... My E is paid for but has 82,000 on it .
Seemes to good to pass- S has Phone, Parktronic, Massage Seats, Nappa Leather, Pneumatic doors ( I guess they all do), all in addition to usual features.... I would lose my pano roof, and appearance package- The S is that dark blue and has 17" wheels I don't care for but I could get over that.....
Any feedback? Would you do it?

I am happy with the E with exception of the space_ have always been a little unhappy as it seemed smallish- Otherwise the E is AWESOME! I gag when I sat in a C class. I am big 6' 270 and I have kids and the backseat has always been a ground of contention- No one wants to sit behind me.... S is like 6" longer....
It looks like he is asking $35-40k for the S500 I will have to get his math exact Monday.... But if it were close- Does the milage differance and features alone make it swing?

Wait...if he's selling you the S500 for 40k with trade...how much would it be if you kept the E500 and just bought the S500...at least right now it seems you're only getting 10-15k for your E500...got to weigh out the options....I am making sense right ?

Wait...if he's selling you the S500 for 40k with trade...how much would it be if you kept the E500 and just bought the S500...at least right now it seems you're only getting 10-15k for your E500...got to weigh out the options....I am making sense right ?

I see your point- Edmunds has a few numbers that don't make his deal look all that good- Monday I will get him to write it all out- The sale and trade values all have to be congruent with market. His rough draft looks like a real low price on my car and high full retail on his S. At least thats how I read Edmunds tonite...

2004 S500
I'm 6'-3" & 265. I drive a F-150 SuperCrew as my daily driver (I'm a contractor) and I feel cramped in anything smaller than our S Class. The S Class is all about comfortable, high speed touring. The move from the E500 to the S500 will be a positive move up for you...consider it strongly. Good luck with your decision.

I am 6 foot and weight 259 lbs so i know wha you mean by room. I had a C class that made it in possible to drive with people behind me. Now with the S, everyone has plenty of space and comfort. You wont go wrong going with the 'S'. S = Smile which I have everyday i start it up and head down the road in mine. Love that damn Car!!!

weird seems that we are all 6' and overweight .. I am 6'1" 245 play tennis lift weights and I still seem to be overweight .. so you guys are right nothing than my S or CL will do for me ... but my daily driver is a 2006 2500HD Duramax Crew Cab ...

id deffenetly pick that car up thats a sweet deal and it would save you on non covered problems on ur E in the future(if you dont have a extented warranty) since the S has the warranty still, go for it, if you let it pass youd be a fool! lol jp
